Job Announcement Executive Director

Six Points Evaluation and Training, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director. Six Points is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide education, training, assistance and support to all developmentally disabled adults and their families in Gunnison and Hinsdale Counties, such that these individuals reach their highest functioning levels and become integrated into our society as independent, productive, contributing citizens. Six Points also operates a Thrift Store to further its mission. 

The Executive Director functions as the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for implementing policies approved by the Board of Directors, achieving annual goals and objectives, and managing finances, programming, fundraising strategies, and administration of the corporation all in support of the Six Points Mission Statement. 

Qualifications include a master’s degree preferred or bachelor’s degree with experience including a minimum of three (3) years’ experience supervising multiple employees, interpreting extensive Federal and State regulations, excellent communication skills and fundraising experience. Education and/or experience in a nonprofit business environment preferred. Starting salary dependent upon experience and qualifications.
