Share the Season with Six Points! As we begin our annual Share the Season fundraising drive, reflecting back over years of generous contributions from this community, we invite you to show your support for Six Points by making a gift during the upcoming holiday season. Six Points is so much more than a thriving thrift store. Six Points supports local adults with disabilities so that they may continue to live independently in our community. Did you also know that Six Points provides work for many individuals and supports others at their community jobs in Gunnison and Crested Butte?

Lakiotes was recently hired as Six Points’ new executive director. Although the experience would be drastically different from what Lakiotes was used to, she went for it and landed the position. Lakiotes has been holding the position as the interim director since January after her predecessor Daniel Bruce stepped down. “Being able to help in someway keep our clients in the community where they want to live, and have them be able to live in a setting of their choice, that ’s really meaningful,” Lakiotes said.
